Job Overview
We require A Levels Sociology tutors who can guide students through the complexities of sociological theories and research methods, including social structures, culture, deviance, social change, and globalization. Tutors will work with students to develop a thorough understanding of sociological concepts and prepare them for success in their A Levels exams.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: A minimum of an undergraduate degree in Sociology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Boards: Hands-on experience teaching students from CAIE, Edexcel, AQA, or OCR boards would be preferred.
- Experience: Prior tutoring or teaching experience, preferably with A Levels Sociology students at leading schools in Pakistan.
- Subject Knowledge: A deep understanding of the A Levels Sociology syllabus and exam requirements.
- Teaching Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs.
- Availability: Flexible availability to accommodate student schedules, both online and in-person.
- Proficiency with online teaching platforms for remote tutoring positions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist students in preparing for Sociology exams, including past paper practice and exam strategies.
- Provide one-on-one online or in-person tutoring tailored to the student’s needs.
- Help students understand and apply sociological concepts and theories through critical analysis and case studies.
- Offer guidance and support throughout the A Levels Sociology journey to help students achieve A Grades.
